Description
For larger lawns where storage space is at a premium, the Quattro 22S V 4 in 1 is our new mower, packed with innovations that help to make it the ultimate walk behind mower. The Twinclip blade (patent pending) has a total of four cutting edges instead of two; the leading edge reduces the initial length of grass with the following edge cutting the finished length down to the desired height. The extra finely cut clippings are blown into the large 70 litre collector and deliver a typical 20% increase in collection capacity. The advanced 163cc Briggs & Stratton 675EXi (LL) ReadyStart Mow and Stow engine is powerful yet fuel efficient. Drive is provided through a heavy duty aluminium high torque cone clutch transmission with forward speed smoothly adjusted through the variable speed transmission so you can select the ideal speed to suit you and the conditions. The hybrid chassis features an extremely durable deep drawn galvanised steel cutting deck with a special J section lip that doubles the stiffness. At the rear of the deck is a cast aluminium conveyor incorporating the lower handlebar mountings. The conveyor is the perfect shape to maximise airflow which is further enhanced by the fins moulded into the anti-scalp plate at the front of the mower. The result is outstanding cutting and collecting performance. The large 70 litre collector is easily fitted with a simple one motion movement. The heavy duty handlebars are easily adjusted with a one motion click to a range of 3 positions and can fold all the way over the engine reducing the amount of valuable space required for storage. The vibration control system minimises vibrations, causing less strain on your arms and a more comfortable working experience. Changing cutting height is easy using the well balanced lever to choose from 7 positions in the 25-77mm range. Complete with a side discharge facility, this versatile 4 in 1 machine allows you to collect, mulch, rear or side discharge depending on your needs. The Mow and Stow engine allows the lawnmower to be stored in an upright position for easy storage. Cleaning after use is facilitated using a clip on hose connector.
