Featuring a safety chain brake and chain guard as standard, it’s perfect for general cutting, sawing and pruning.
40cm/16″ OREGON BAR AND CHAIN
For safety and reliability, all Gardencare chainsaws are fitted as standard with an Oregon brand guide bar and chain. The world’s largest manufacturer of bars and chains, Oregon products are engineered to reduce the likelihood of slippage and kickback for safer cutting, pruning and sawing.

At the heart of this chain saw is a 40cc 2-stroke petrol engine and responsive, Walbro carburetor. This ultra-low emission powertrain produces plenty of low down torque, providing the power you need, when you need it.
SAFETY CHAIN BRAKE
For added safety, every Gardencare Chain Saw incorporates a chain brake system. In the event of kickback being detected, the system activates the brake to stop the chain immediately. As a further safety precaution, the forward auxiliary handle also incorporates an inbuilt hand guard to protect against chain derailing.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND AGILE
The extensive use of alloys and lightweight engineering plastics in the construction of this chain saw allow it to weigh in at just 4.7kg.
