This mid-range chainsaw from Gardencare is ideal for use around the home, farm and garden. Featuring a powerful 49.3cc 2-stroke petrol engine, Walbro carburetor and 45cm(18″) Oregon bar and chain, it’s shipped fully assembled and is ready for you to fuel and oil straight from the box. Ideal for low-level pruning, chopping logs, cutting firewood and even felling trees, it’s supplied complete with its own plastic carry case.
45cm / 18″ OREGON BAR AND CHAIN
For safety and reliability, all Gardencare chainsaws are fitted as standard with an Oregon brand guide bar and chain. The world’s largest manufacturer of bars and chains, Oregon products have been specially developed to reduce the likelihood of slippage and kickback for safer cutting, pruning and sawing.
MAGNESIUM ALLOY CONSTRUCTION
The extensive use of magnesium alloy in the construction of this machine minimises weight, without sacrificing strength. All up, this chainsaw weighs in at just 5.1kg, making it especially nimble and agile.
SAFETY CHAIN BRAKE
For added safety, every Gardencare Chain Saw incorporates a chain brake system. In the event of kickback being detected, the system activates the brake to stop the chain almost immediately. As a further safety precaution, the forward auxiliary handle also features an inbuilt hand guard to protect against chain derailing.
POWERED BY GARDENCARE
At the heart of this chain saw is Gardencare’s 49.3cc 2-stroke petrol engine. This ultra-low emission powertrain has been designed specifically for handheld sawing applications – producing plenty of low down torque on demand. For greater responsiveness and ease of starting, an industry standard Walbro carburetor is fitted as standard.
